1 Unexpected

I was preparing to go for my hunt as I haven't fed for weeks, when I heard someone calling me " Bella.. Where are you?"

' hmmph.. more delay.. great' I thought to myself.

" I'm in study downstairs." I answered normally like the person calling is in the same room. That's one of the things I love about being vampire. They have awesome sense of hearing. of course a great sense of smell too with great eyesight. Dang.. Is there anything we are not good at? I chuckled at myself.

" What's so funny?" Alice asked entering the room.

I ignored her question and asked my question in return " What do you want now? You know I am not in a mood to play."

She shrugged " Well I was just thinking I will join you for supper if you don't mind."

I so do mind and she knows that. Even though we were sisters I was really angry on her for past half century and don't know how many more centuries it will take me to forgive her. So her question caught me off guard " And why the hell do you think I'll be ok with it?"

" Well.. because I want to tell you something important and I would prefer to do it alone." She said casually.

I looked at her and kept on looking for 20 seconds trying to make sense of her words. Finally I gave up " Fine.. let's go then"
