2 Just my temper and me

We were sitting on a boulder on a rocky mountain in the middle of the jungle. I was full after draining a mountain lion and an elk. Alice however didn't hunted and watched me from the boulder smiling mysteriously when I came back. " Thought you wanted to have supper" I said sitting beside her.

" Actually I just remembered I am on diet" She said with playful smile on her lips.

Alice was not so bad and I loved her even but I just cannot forgive her what she did to me. So even though she tries almost everyday to make a conversation with me and make up for her mistake, I don't have it in me to forgive her.

" So what was so important that you wanted to talk in private?" I asked coming straight to the point.

She sighed but replied anyway " I saw you looking at that boy today.. in the school. Pretty handsome I must say."

I narrowed my eyes on her. I was trying so hard not to punch her.

" Relax.. I don't mean to pry or something. Just wanna help cuz u know.."

She trailed off sensing my mood.

I relaxed down a bit and replied with my teeth " Stay out of it Alice if you wanna live" And I stood up and started running towards home.

" Geesh.. Can't you just see I am trying to mend things between us. Give me a chance at least." She said catching up on me. I skidded to halt. She skidded few feets further and came back walking where I was standing.

" Just what you are actually thinking?" I asked skeptically. She took a long breath before answering even though vampires don't need to breath but Alice is always acting human " Well I was thinking of using my ability of reading thoughts to help you have a date with him."

My jaw dropped. " You. stay. away. from. him" I warned her stressing on every syllable.
