Elize shook her head. Was she delusional? Why did the words make sense to her? She took a seat on the plush couch and leaned forward. Reaching out to feel the texture of the book, she gasped. The letters had suddenly blurred and again, and she somehow was able to read the bold dark letters engraved on the cover of the book. Her hands shook, as her heart started beating faster. The letters she remembered were clearly written in some sort of archaic alphabet, which she was sure that she'd never seen before. Yet due to some strange tick of magic, she was able to read it. How was this possible?!
