Chapter 378: No one is going to die

As she drew closer to the settlement, the sound of the children's squeals grew louder. The forest was quiet like it had been ever since the barrier came up. Elize wondered if all the animals and birds on the Island had disappeared into thin air. It seemed that way since she could sense no other living creature than the people ahead of her. 

But no such thing had been written in the grimoire that Evanora had furnished just two hours back. The only side effect stated in it was that it would last as long as the Chosen One was alive and no more. The witch had read it out to her word by word, dissecting each possibility of passing through it.
