She raised her hand instinctively, wanting to caress his beautiful face. His eyes closed, and his torso tilted towards her in anticipation. Time stopped, and everything else suddenly disappeared. His scent pushed through her senses and consumed every bit of her consciousness as she leaned in. She had barely touched him when the alpha jerked back- as if shaken awake from a dream. 

In the blink of an eye, he was ten feet away from her, his chest rising up and down in quick succession. Elize rolled her eyes, throwing her hands up in the air in frustration. What was that about? She wondered, folding her hands above her chest. 

"What is your problem with me?" She asked, cocking her head to the right. 

Zack huffed. "You don't know?" He asked, raising his brows.
