Chapter 305: Why now?

By the time that she woke up, the sun was already high up in the sky, beating down on the forest below with an intense wave of heat. Agatha was walking back and forth the room, arguing something aloud with herself like a madwoman. Elize squinted her eyes. Where was she? She thought, taking in her surroundings groggily.

"Oh, you're awake! Thank the goddess!" Agatha exclaimed, rushing to her side. "I was going to shock you awake if you didn't wake up within half an hour." She said, beaming at her. 

Elize rolled her eyes at her friend and slid out of the bed. "Why am I in the pack house?" She asked, recognizing the guest room.

The sounds of excited wolves could be heard from somewhere beneath the room. She must be in one of the guest rooms on the second floor, Elize thought, scrunching her brows. She looked down at her attire. She was still wearing the red silk dress from last night. How had she ended up on the other side of the Island? She wondered.
