241 Chapter 241: Because I'm scared

"Are you nervous?" Lloyd asked, pulling her close.

That was an understatement. Elize was not simply nervous but too turned on to even keep her legs steady. Inside the puffed-up skirt of her gown, her knees were hitting against each other as her legs shook unsteadily. Luckily, the prince had a good grip on her waist. But that didn't make things any easier. 

Her heart was thudding nervously against her chest like a war-drum. She was standing too close to him. Her chest strained against his muscled torso and her cold hands gripped his shoulder shakily. 

"Not at all," Elize replied with an awkward laugh. 

The prince chuckled, shaking his head. As the music started, he quickly lifted her up and placed her on his feet. 

"Don't worry. I will not let you fall." He whispered, leaning towards her ears.
