233 Chapter 233: Let's take her into the family

Inside the palace walls, chaos ensued. Everybody from the lowest of the servants to the highest of the palace guards was busy preparing for the upcoming ball. While that was so, the queen's entertainment room was alive with a different kind of chaos- a happy one. Sitting on the plush velvety sofas were the royal couple, and opposite them were the eldest prince and Elize with little Leith sitting at her feet, leaning his head against her leg. The sound of their laughter dulled out all the noises that were coming from outside the closed room. 

The queen tried hard to subdue her laughter with the back of her hand. "And then?" She asked, wiping the tear that escaped the corner of her eye. 

"The stupid beast threw me in like I was nothing more than a rag doll!" Elize replied with a sigh.
