She needed him to come closer. And he did, as if sensing what was inside her head. 

"Are you sure?" He asked, cocking his head to the side. 

"N-no." Elize stuttered, the truth finally coming out from her mouth. 

Suddenly his hand wrapped around her waist, drawing her to him with a swift pull. Elize's gasped, surprised by the sudden movement. Either she was getting really sloppy in sensing his movements or she was too drunk. There was no other explanation for it, she tried to tell herself, though knowing deep inside that it was a lie. The truth was that she had let her guard down with him since long ago. He had crept into her heart like a slow fever and was now burning high, wiping every reason and every wall out of its way.
