222 Chapter 222: I'm only doing my job

Zack heard the sound of leaves getting crushed and twigs breaking. He wondered where they had reached but Irina had insisted that he keep the blindfold on. They still had to walk a bit more till they reached their destination. He followed the sound of the witch's steps, walking closely behind her. Walking into that portal was not that hard. He had done it before and had always found his wolf strangely irritant towards it. But this time, his wolf was silent. It had woken up after days of shutting itself off from him, knowing that they were going to meet Elize. He could feel it pacing inside his head nervously, mimicking his own state of mind. 

"Why the sudden desire to go to the Faery Kingdom?" Irina asked, sounding curious.

"I miss her," Zack replied with a shrug.
