205 Chapter 205: Why would I be jealous?

"During this time, every year, we praise the love of Luna and Sol." Tanila's voice rose, cutting through the hoots and cheers. "This year, the feast of restoration is special, for we have amongst us, the Chosen One, sent by our goddess as promised." She said, smiling at Elize. 

"Hail the goddess! Hail the god!" The shouts rang throughout the place.

Elize beamed at the energy that surrounded her. She felt excited, standing beside the chief as people looked at them with eyes full of hope. But the food that was kept in front of her distracted her every now and then. It was hard to resist the temptation when it was right under your nose, waving seductively at you. Shaking her head, she turned back to Tanila. 

"Let us remember their love and sacrifice." The woman said, an aura of grace surrounding her. "Let us be thankful at this moment for all that this year has brought to us. Let us remember our duty to Sol and Luna."
