179 Chapter 179: Inside the cave

"Who is she, Ayre? Why did you bring her here?" A voice boomed.

Her head whipped towards the direction of the sound. She couldn't see the person clearly, because of the bright light that was coming from the opposite direction. But with the silhouette of the person, she could make it out that it was a man- a very tall man with sharp pointy ears. She looked back towards the kids who suddenly shrank behind her. She shook her head. So much for his big mouth, she thought, looking at Ayre's nervous state. 

"She is.." Ayre trailed off, looking down in guilt.

Elize felt sympathy for the little blond elf. She knew that even if someone asked, Ayre wouldn't be able to tell the answer. It was because he hadn't asked who she was or where she came from, and she hadn't bothered to let them know. She patted the kid on his head in reassurance. Ayre looked at her with an irritated expression. 

"I'm Elize. The Chosen One." She said, without looking away from him.
