154 Chapter 154: Unavoidable Destiny

Sitting down on one of the three chairs in the room, the witch waved at her to sit down. Elize walked over and sat on one of the uncomfortably hard wooden chairs. She shifted uneasily, feeling awkward and guilty at the same time.

 She felt sad for the family of three and their living conditions. Usually, witches lived in covens. And where there were covens, people lived comfortably. But for some reason, the three seemed to be living alone. She remembered growing up alone with her powers and no coven. It had been too hard for her. She hoped that it wasn't the same for Karine and her family all their lives. 

"Thank you for buying them food." The witch said suddenly, looking at her gratefully. 

Elize smiled in acknowledgment. "It was my pleasure. But why do you live here? Where is your coven?" She asked, cocking her head to the side curiously. 

Karine sighed. A sad smile formed on her lips.
