135 Chapter 135: The little wingman

Elize was staring at Skye with her mouth open as she struggled in Sam's hands. She couldn't understand what was going on in the little girl's head. And why was Sam acting so nervous around her? Her classmate didn't look like he was scared of her- but he was acting quite suspiciously. His handsome face looked red, as his brown eyes widened nervously. The air was too thick with awkwardness. Elize didn't know what to do or say as she watched the siblings. But thankfully, she didn't have to wait long before Sean walked in with a whole train of waiters. The smell of cheese and meat filled the room. She sighed in relief as Skye's attention turned towards the gigantic tray carried in by the staff. Agatha and Legolas followed after the group, their faces flushed. There was a hint of a smile on the witch's face. As she came to stand next to her, Elize quickly grabbed her friend's hand and pulled her close.

Leaning in, she whispered, "So? How did it go?"
