79 First Time At The Movies

Remote, Lawner and Exhale are also known as the Big Three. The Big Three are the most influential entertainment companies in the world. It used to be the big five but the other two, Apex and Quality we're unable to keep up with the times.

The Big Three garnered fame from their record-breaking box office movies, money burning production costs and advertisements. Not forgetting that they have an abundant amount of IP's, top screenwriters and even award-winning directors.

Their monopoly would have continued if not for the theatre line called Mirage. A theatre that ignored the benefits put forward by the Three Rulers and worked closely with other companies and small studios. The exclusion of the Three Ruler's was not to appear like a saint in front of other companies or garner favour from the masses.

The reason was simply that the founders of mirage were petty individuals. Mirage was initially just a small group of inspiring filmmakers that had poured their heart and soul into a film they had prepared for the Cannes Film Festival.

The film was an inspiring youth film that was guaranteed to win the best film if it weren't for it suddenly not being shown. There was no notice from the staff or even an apology. Although they don't have any proof, they are certain that it was due to their film being a threat to Remote entertainments film.

2 years passed before the same group of disheartened filmmakers reappeared with a Theater called Mirage.

Mirage theatres focused on working with small film studios and foreign films. After only five years they opened up 1000 theatres around the world. In America alone, there are 94 Mirages Theaters.

Standing in front of the very first Mirage theatre is Theodore, with Rose and Bella in his arms. Passing through the automatic door they are greeted by an atmosphere that's entirely different from the outside.

It was quiet but not the unsettling kind. The silent mutters of excitement could be heard from every corner while the smell of fresh popcorn drifted throughout the place.

Along the walls were movie posters and In front of them was a hologram of the trailer silently playing.

Rose was immediately excited by this new environment. She immediately saw a wall that was dedicated to kids films and said "Ooh ooh I want to watch that one!"

She pointed at "The Last Banana" the Minions 4th sequel.

'Urgh how long are they gonna milk these annoying little shit's Thought Theodore as he gave a tired sigh

"It's not just you watching, we have to ask Bella what she wants?" Asked Theodore full of hope

Rose looked at Bella and asked "Sorry Bella, you can pick"

That little hope vanished as Bella signed excitedly 'I like the Minions too'

"Hehe Stuart funny" Rose laughed happily while nodding excitedly

'Oo I like Bob' Signed Bella

Theodore then touched the poster causing it to change and show the latest screening time. Sadly the next screening wouldn't be for another 2 hours.

He could either have them pick another movie or pay for a private screening room. A private screening room has only 30 seats and has a slightly smaller screen but you can screen any movie you wish and even use it for personal use like a small game tournament or a party.

The benefits are nice but it costs $5,000 just to have it for a day and $25,00 for the 3-month subscription plan which comes with free refills on drinks and popcorn even the luxury of having a private toilet.

'Well, I have more than enough money and It would be good to make it a regular activity maybe like three times a week'

He immediately paid for the monthly subscription plan before putting in some personal information. Shortly after paying his phone pinged. Looking at his phone he saw a text from Mirage Theaters with a QR code. The QR code is updated every day and is used as a pass for getting into the private rooms.

He looked into the personalise section and requested the back row to be sofa beds. He was then told that the room would be ready in 15 minutes.

"Okay let's get some snacks" Said, Theodore

"Yay cookies!!" Shouted Rose excitedly

Theodore put them on the floor and let them loose. Bella immediately ran towards the snacks while pulling Rose along.

Bella grabbed a bag of cheese puffs, BBQ Pringles, Skittles and a Hershey bar.

Rose looked back at her dad thinking he was going to puck out her snacks only to see him smile and say "Go pick it yourself just no soda remember,"

Rose was full of energy as zoomed around the stalls just picking up everything she's seen on t.v.

Theodore quickly stopped and said "Let's keep it to a minimum of 4 snacks and a drink"

Rose looked at the snacks she picked up with a sad expression before sifting through them and picking out ones she wants. After a minute of difficult decision making what remained was 2 packs of chocolate chip cookies, a bag of hot Cheetos, Apple juice and gummy bears.

After paying for everything they were then escorted to their screening room. They sat at the top in the middle row. Rose and Bella shared a couch with a fluffy blanket. Using his phone he dimmed the lights and started the movie. While they enjoyed the movie he went to work on his Batman comics.

In the first chapter of Batman, he introduced the Wane family, how Bruce lost his parents, his fear of bats, his time at the league of assassins and then him eventually taking on the identity Batman.

After that was the slow development of him gradually casting the fear that is Batman whilst also working on his equipment. In the next few chapters, he wants to introduce a supervillain. The only question is which one.
