Abduction

He is King Jordan!!!! King of Elfland How did I get so stupid? That means the horse brought me to the palace, to his home. Damn that freaking horse!! I mentally cursed him, being angry at him for no reason. I looked at him who was looking at me with a smirk waiting for my reply. No, I can not be weak in front of him!! I am Jennifer. He is just an elf. I am a witch.

I looked at him in confidence, heads up. But internally I am sacred, I know how powerful they can be. Well, dad said it was a myth, but look!!! I am in elfland. It was also a myth. I cannot take a risk. What if... What if he kills me here? NO... I have so much to do. I have to defeat Shawna too!!!

I soften my eyes, clearing my throat I forced a smile as I said-" Oh it was indeed nice to meet you too King Jordan... I always kind of knew that we gonna meet again... haha... so here we-we are...".

I awkwardly smiled at him, hiding my nervousness. He chuckled at my behavior as he said-" Pretty witch, witty witch!!!" while walking a few steps.

Did he just call me a 'witty witch?' Oh... how I wish I can pull off your handsome face with my wand right now. I glared at her with my piercing eyes thinking this in my head. Only if not I had to take his help to get back home, I would have shown who I am!!!

I tried to come clear to him as I said-" Well if you just help me, this pretty witch can go back home!!!"

He squinted his eyes while tilting his head slightly to look at me. I knitted my brows as I asked in confusion-" What?"

He frowned as he replied in a serious tone-" I was wondering how a witch can be so brave in front of the Elf king after committing such crimes?"

"Crimes? Do you call borrowing your horse is a crime? Well... Mr... I was just saving my life from you. I didn't know you are the king... Else I would never have run away... but you cant just call it a crime. It's self-defense" I said while explaining to him in frustration.

How can he just declare me as a criminal by a self-defense act? Huh? What kind of King is he?

His face turned serious as he walked closer to me making me a little nervous with his strong gaze. What is he up to?

He said while looking at me in a serious tone-" I am talking about the crime you are committing in our country for a long period!!"

I frowned at his words as I asked in confusion-" Crime? What are you talking about?"

He let out a laugh looking at me and said-" Pretending to be naive won't let you go from here witch!!! You are the one who is abducting the elf kids!!! NOW TELL ME WHERE ARE THEY? " He yelled at me making me flinch a little.

" Abducting kids? What are you talking about?"- I asked in confusion.

He sighed and called-" Mangul??". Within no time Mangul came there holding something in his hand. I was too confused and frustrated to notice what was in his hand. I was thinking how can he just call me a kidnapper? Why would I do that? Huh!!. I scoffed.

Jordan took the thing from Manguls's hand and walked towards me and asked-" Look at this, is this from your land?"

I frowned and looked at the thing he was showing me. My eyes widen to see the wand in his hand. I witch's wand!!! I took it from his hand and looked at it carefully, and then the realization hit me, it was my family wand!! The denoted initials can be seen. I took out my wand to confirm if what I am seeing is true or not. And it was true!! The initial marks of Lenin's are denoted there as same as mine.

I was too shocked. I looked at him in confusion and asked in a shaken voice-" Wh-Where did you find this?"

He chuckled and replied while taking back the wand-" Where you left it!". I frowned and looked at him in anger. Why the hell is he trying to make me a criminal here? Yes, the wand belongs to my family but I came here for the first time!!

I said-" Listen, I don't know where you got this wand from but this is not mine"

He laughed and replied-" Okay... So now you will deny this is not yours? Let me look at it!!!". He took my wand from my hand and looked at it. He found the initial marks and smirked. He said-" Mmm... So this is not yours too right?"

I blinked a few times while replying-" No, This is mine... but.."

He cut me off by saying-" Stop lying!!! You are the one who we are searching for all these years!!! The one who is abducting the elf kids...!!! Do you even know what our country is facing because of you? "

I count understand what is he talking about, I was just looking at him blankly. He said-" This is why we don't trust witches like you. Now tell me where are they... How do you come here? And what are your intentions? "

I scoffed at his words as I said-" Intentions? I intend to go back home... So LET ME!!!. And I have no idea what are you talking about okay? Why would I do something like that? Do you even know who I am? I am Duchess of WithWorld!!! I do not have taste in kidnapping kids okay!!!"

He stood there looking at me with an angry expression. I cannot wait for more as I went to tale back my wand. But he used the Elf magic to capture me with an invisible force. I whimpered and shouted while struggling-" I.SAID.LET.ME.GO"

He ignored me as if I am not even there and turned to Mangul and asked-" Bring her here!"

I don't know what is he talking about as I was a little scared. His magic was powerful. And I am nothing without my wand!!! How am I supposed to get out from here? Uh!!! Such a waste, creepy brain behind this handsome face!!! Oh god, where am I stuck?

I kept shouting to let me go, disturbing them in their conversation when Jordan looked at me in anger and used his magic to shut my mouth. What the hell!!! What does he think of himself? Let me get out from here once... I will show you who am I. I kept struggling while thinking all these.

Mangul left after bowing before him and he turned towards me with a smirk. He said-" Well... Let's wait for her. The one who has seen you when you were abducting the kids. Then we will decide your punishment witch!!!"

I couldn't speak so I made an angry sound with my closed mouth and showed him my angry eyes. What does he mean by punishment? Oh no, no... What is happening? What should I do now? This little brat doesn't know who he is messing with!!!

Soon the gate opened revealing Mangul along with a little girl. She was in her early teens maybe. Her eyes were calm and scared. I don't know why I felt something for her!. But wait, this is no time to think all this, I have to get out from here.! I kept struggling while they approach us. Mangul stood before us and he asked the kid looking at her-" Sheera? tell me is she the one who took your brother? Look at her closely"

The little girl walked towards me as I kept moving to get free from the bond. Jordan gave a cold face as he asked-"Identify her Sheera!!! Is she the one?"

The little girl walked before me as she kept staring at my face, looking very carefully. What is she doing? God, I am not what you thinking!!!! I screamed in my head as I cannot scream from my mouth. I kept prying that she don't lie.

Finally, she looked back at Jordan with her doe eyes as she said-" No, My king she is not her!!!"

I sighed in relief closing my eyes. Jordan's eyes widen to hear this. He asked-" Are you sure?". She nodded. I started struggling more indicating him to leave me now. He looked at me with a sigh as he released me from his spell.

I said-" Hey... !!! you Nutthead!!! How dare you just did that to me? Do you even know who am I? I can bring my father here and can sue you all!!!"

He raised his brows and scoffed-" Like this"

He again used his spell to shut my mouth. This triggered my anger as I walked towards him to take back my wand. I can only whimper with my mouth closed. He raised his hand in the air while teasing me. I looked at him furiously as I tried to jump a little to reach his hand and grab my wand back. He was taller than me so it was difficult for me to reach him. The more I tried the more he raised his hand. He was enjoying it. I grabbed his arms and jumped one last time to reach my wand, but in between this we both lost our balance as we fell. I fell upon his hard chest.

"Ouch"- I whimpered a little in pain. I sighed and looked up at him, whose eyes were looking at mine. I cannot deny the fact he was so handsome that I was lost in him. Both of our eyes met as one as we feel connected through our souls. We kept staring at each other without caring about our surroundings. How can he be so handsome? My mind thought.

Those beautiful eyes, and that plumpy lips. My eyes falls on his lips as I gulped on my lumps. His eyes were staring every bit of me as a whisper only left from his mouth-" wow". I feel a sudden heat on my cheeks due to the blush he creates on me. We stayed in that position until we heard the sound of a clearing throat from behind.

Oh god!!! what I am doing? My eyes widen in the realization that I was on him and we were having a staring competition!!! How can we? Is he not my enemy? I blinked a few times before looking away as I tried to get up from him. But due to the nervousness, I keep falling on him again and again. I became frustrated as I frowned. He was still looking at me with a smile when he said in his sift voice-" Wait, let me help you"

I had no option other than to nod at him. He took his hands near my waist and looked back at me while asking permission-" May I?"

I was hesitant a bit but then I nodded a yes. His firm hands hold my waist supporting me to stand up. I stood up while looking away in empressement.

As soon as I stood up Mangul came forward to help him up on his feet. He cleared his throat as he said-" Here..."

I looked at him with a frown and saw him giving back my wand. I took it in one go showing my annoyance at him. He said-" I-I am sorry. I mistook you for someone else."

I didn't look at him and replied-" I don't need your sorry... I need to go back home. So can you please?"

There was silence for some time as I looked at him to seek answers. He was standing there with a serious face as I asked-" What happened now? Now that is proved I have nothing to do with our country affairs... Just let me go!!!"

He looked at me with serious eyes as he replied-" I am afraid I cannot do that"

I asked in confusion-" what do you mean by you can not do that? I need to go home, just let me"

I was getting annoyed with his words as I desperately wanted to go home. Tears started building in my eyes as I said -" p-please..."

He looked at me with concerned eyes as he knitted his brows looking at my tears. He walked towards me and wiped off my tears and said-" Tears don't suit you, pretty Witch!!!"

I said while sniffing a little-" Then.. please.. let me go home... My dad will be scared and... finding me"

He cupped my cheeks in his big hands as he looked in my eyes before letting a heavy sigh-" Even if I want to... I cant... I don't know how to send you back..."

I frowned in confusion as I asked-" what do you mean?"

He said taking his hands away and walking away from me a little-" You see, This elf land was created by our ancestors hidden from another world. There was a time when witches and Wizards worked together with Elves. The magic in us helped them to build their lands, but then slowly, our lineage started decreasing. The elf king started to worry and investigate this matter and found, our kind was abducted and killed for no reason...." He turned towards me as he continued-" Having the fear of getting perished one day... they assembled their magic to form a world for us. To let us leave happily and safely here. After leaving the WitchLand, nobody did go back there and neither do we know how to go back. It was a few years ago when we faced a massive earthquake in Elfland. We were not able to find the reason behind it. And suddenly after that the news of children between the age of 10-15 getting abducted for no reason. The more we try to solve this matter, the more we get nothing... Every time a child gets abducted we faced an earthquake here... A few weeks ago, this little child and her brother were lost in the dark forest and they saw a portal open before them. They hid between the trees and watched a few people coming here. They were not elves."

He paused as he looked at Sheera with soft eyes before continuing again-" Luckily she escaped but her brother was abducted by them. This little girl saw her brother being tortured towards the portal. During his struggle to escape from there, this wand fell off from one of them. She brought it to us and that is how we found a clue to this matter... Yesterday we had another earthquake and we ran back to the forest. We didn't find anyone as we waited for a long time. But I was sure there was someone... and we went to search once again this morning. That is when I found you."

He turned back to me and said-" When you mentioned a portal, I was confused and was shocked to see a Witch in Elfland. Then I saw your wand which was similar to this one, but before I could do anything you took my horse. If I wanted I can easily get out from your spell with my magic but I know Phillip will bring you here. So I waited. I thought you are one of them. I-I am sorry for the inconvenience you have here in elfland... But right now I cannot help you to get back."

I was listening to him calmly as my eyes widen to hear all these. how can this be possible? Is a witch abducting elves? Why? that portal was opened in our land... and this wand... What do all these mean? I have to find out.

I looked at him with hopeless eyes as he said-" You can stay here for now, until we find another earthquake that can send you back."

I sighed as I had no option other than to listen to him. I nodded looking at him. But I have to find a way back home soon and solve this mystery. This is what will give me name and fame more than Shawna!!!
