Ayesha

I was excited. It had been quite a long time since I went out to have fun. Today was a special day. I packed a small bag of necessities and snacks and juice and hurried out the door at six after finishing my morning prayers.

It was still dark but that's okay. The sun would come up in a while. I hailed a cab and watched the scene as Mumbai came alive.

I soon reached the park we would rendevous. Saleha waited for me by the entrance. Krupa, Gautami and Fariha still hadn't reached.

"Assalaamu aalaikum!"
