"It can't be?!" I repeated my words once again, wishing that our final battle had eventually ended.

 Despite Rose's panicking expressions, after relaying me the whereabouts of the monster, her face gradually softens as the Lizard's figure appears before the smog. 

"It's dead!" She announces while pointing her finger at the headless reptile stationed at our fore. "The Radial gun worked!" 

The Colossal Lizard indeed took the beam head-on without even flinching from the rainbow-colored ray. By the time that the Lizard had foreseen its death, it was too late for it to dodge the attack. I could still recall its body swimming in mid-air, desperately moving away from the luminance. Alas, its efforts were futile given from the total radius coming from the gun's blast and ultimately killing the gigantic beast.
