55 Unexpected encounter

"Shit!" The infected sounded the alarm as they aggressively bang themselves across the unlit room. Soon after, they came sprawling out from all of my fours as they unleash their honed claws and canine teeth in attempt to chew on their next prey. 

The light from before knew something about the movements about these infected, as the figure itself camouflage from the parallel side of the hallway despite beaconing a faint light coming from the antique lamp. 

I had guaranteed myself that all my escape route was heavily guarded by the sprinting zombies. Even if I did had the chance to flee from this abandoned place, there was no assurance that I would live outside the outskirts of the jungle. The terrain itself is foreign for me to venture, let alone hide from these untamed beast. It was safe to say that these zombies are accustomed in the dark, while I on the other hand was not.
