"What was that?" I asked, hoping to receive any feedback from the aftershock we have felt. 

 The ground from where we stood trembled before our feet, but there was nobody there to greet us that can explain its cause. 

 However, there was only one explanation that came into mind from the source of the occurrence. 

The scorpion that we had already mentioned before we came up with a plan. We cannot also forget its kin, hiding beneath its shadow, waiting to hunt and prey for the unfortunate beings who are bound to wander on the plain. 

Despite the ground shaking violently than before, the scorpions did not appear in front of us, and stayed underground, not wanting to reveal themselves for any time soon.
