155 The Spilled Gas (1)

"We made it!" I said as we both landed on the surface of the boulder, free from any anomalies in our path. Afterwards, Me, Konoe, and Tomori hastily sprinted away from the worms, which were miles apart from where we had arrived. 

We are still unsure whether these creatures would chase us extensively, but that did not stop us from moving apart.

In contrast from the other group, they were standing still, waiting for our appearance. Luckily, there were no zombified critters up ahead, which would likely be a safe area for us to rejuvenate our strength for the time being. 

However, right now, our hands are full with the swarming undead, hot in pursuit for our fresh meat from our rear. 

After travelling for approximately one kilometre towards our group, we finally manage to escape the clutches of the angered beasts, crawling on the platform of the sandy trail.
