69 The Great Tunnel of Demise (2)

"YOU FUCKER!" I've had enough of this silly games. 

Standing before us in the dimmed room was an enormous Black Widow, the most venomous spider found in the northern plains of America. Its venom was reported to be 15 times stronger than a rattlesnake's, according to the documents I've read in the internet.

In the wild, black widows tend to bite humans only if disturbed, however it seems so that her nest was completely trampled by our presence alone the moment we step foot and ran across her figure. 

From the flare provided by the fired bullet, the tunnel was illuminated, and the room was filled with various amount of spider combs and eggs resting on our feet. At some point, at a distance, there were some eggs that had turned into smithereens from where we had traversed with. Surely, her enraged behaviour manifested by the time we had cracked open her babies in attempt to avenge her fallen kin.
