72 Here We Go Again

"AAAAAGH" Descending like a lightning, the lift nearly crashes against the ground but was fortunately cushioned from the trail of lump of squishy meat foaming around the marble floor. Alas, the shock from the impact immediately surges through our brains and up to our limbs, as we both felt the ruined floor slanting towards the side.

"Ai…Ai!" I gaze to my comrade laying across the other side, succumb behind her knees as she wallows down in agony.

"Thank goodness you're alright" my heart leaps out of joy as I hurriedly brace her unto my arms, hoping to feel a little bit of heartbeat pumping out .from her fragile body. 

She mumbles out some Japanese words from which I could not understand before prying her eyes wide open upon the greeting gaze of mine.
