154 Escaping the Worms

I saw Venice and Fleur running towards the west, away from our group that was sprinting to the east. 

Two monsters were chasing us, and each of them decided to split up and hunt the parted party, which was the two women at our left. The other scorpion decides to run us down towards the north, away from the other group. 

"Tomori, stay close behind me," I said, anxious of the existence of the arachnid at our rear. 

Our hope was slowly shattered and ripped apart as time went by, where our muscles were stretched and overworked from the race. 

Fortunately, the scorpion burrows on the ground and digs a deep hole, closer in the abyss. We could not stare nor dwindle around at the area, so we decided to push through our luck and dash as fast as we could with the little energy that we have.
