"My name is Rose Garfield, the step-daughter of the current prime minister and the secretary of Andrew Turner" (Author's note: Rose introduces herself in Japanese, while switching back from her current language in English)

"Kanata…Kanata Konoe. Pleased to meet you" I let out a quivering voice upon returning her kind gesture. Although her name was completely western-like, she was still well informed about the different cultures of the Japanese.

I couldn't believe my eyes that one of the most important people here in Japan had happened to be the benefactor of our lives. Even so, Rose demands us to hand over Itsuki's brother to be experimented upon due to the virus enveloping inside his body. Despite our current standings, we cannot turn our tails from her advantageous offer and decided to hear her out once we could meet the person conversing in our minds.
