101 A Decision-One last time (3)

"There's too many of them!" Polo growls at the sea of never-ending waves of lizards crawling at the narrowed vent. 

 However, the army of reptiles wasn't the only problem present on the scene. 

 A large gecko sprawled out of nowhere and glared sharp piercing daggers at our direction, paired with its ferocious teeth longing for a prey. 

 I am well too familiar with the appearance of this reptile, after all…I was a part of the previous experiment to mutate the same lizard standing before us under the cover of the bright light.

Its scales were massive, even bigger than the length of my petite arm, as I was held in place, captivated from its obsidian beauty of destruction. Everything around its body was painted with the same darkened hue, like a shadow battling against the scorching sun coming from above. The eyes were also gleaming with dread, gaping at our pocket-size figures.
