54 Nearing the end

There are twenty-two days left before the competition ends. With the second last round starting today, I should start applying for a leave soon. Good thing I've become good friends with Chase over the last few days, now I have a valid reason for going. I'll have to get a week worths of work done before leaving so Yurisa doesn't end up with my share.

After work, I wrote out an explanation for needing a week off and took it over to the manager's office. He was out of the guild at the moment so I just left it on his desk. As I was putting it down, I saw that wanted poster again, the one of the boy who looked like Kiyo. I read the poster. The boy in the drawing was a missing prince who ran away from his country after Terminus took control of it. He's also a suspect for the attempted assassination. The prince would probably know more about him, but I wouldn't want to cause Kiyo any trouble in case it was found out I knew someone who looked similar.

The fourth round was one on one battles. This round would cut out two thirds of the participants making the last round a position determiner for the hundred participants who passed.
