I woke up to the sound of cheering outside. I looked out the window. 'Hmm, it must be some kind of event today.' I got dress and went down the the front desk. "Excuse me, what day is it today?" "What! You didn't know? Would you happen to be from another country?" The receptionist questioned. "I came from a very closed off village, but what event is happening?" "There are parades this afternoon and soilders are going to be marching down the road tossing confetti and flowers!" 'Just answer the question!' "Since it's the queen's birthday, her majesty will be touring many towns, I hope she visits ours," the receptionist continued. 'I see, so it's the queen's birthday. I wonder if stores will be closed today to celebrate the event.'

I went back to my room to get the application I filled out yesterday. Hope the Adventure's Guild isn't closed today. I headed over. "Good morning," I was greeted by the same girl who gave me the application yesterday. "Good morning, I'm here to turn in an application." I placed the stack of papers on the counter. "That was fast! But since it's her majesty's birth anniversary the application won't be processed until the celebration is over." "Alright, when should I come back?" "I suggest in about three to four days." "Okay." I walked out of the guild. On the street, there were many food stands selling prettily decorated food and there were people throwing confetti everywhere. I'll have to start working soon, so I might as well be laid back and enjoy myself for the next few days.
