16 From the start

Alright. Let's begin from the start. After becoming friends with Miya, Kiyo and Lyla, we decided to leave the village together. We planned a three-day trip. Everything went quite smoothly and we were about to reach our destination. Guess we ran out of luck. I don't blame Kiyo for what happened since she had never left that small village and she didn't think to worry about human in counters. Anyways, we were approaching the new village when we were attacked by bandits. Since we were so close to a village they didn't try to kill us and just took our belongings. As they tried to take a metal flower hair clip from Miya, we saw the bandit being smashed into the ground. He was killed. And his murderer was Miya. Right after, Kiyo grabbed onto Miya's arm and started shouting some words. I kind of spaced out and couldn't hear what she said, all I remembered was Kiyo calling Miya 'Maya'.

I was probably killed while I spaced out, maybe by the bandits or.. I didn't want to consider the other possibility. Back to my present situation. How come the doctor didn't know about the Worlds Gate? Was whoever brought me to the hospital keeping it a secret? I asked a nurse if she knew who brought me to the hospital. From her description it was one of my coworkers, he must have gone to check why I didn't show up to work. That guy has no reason to help me keep a secret though, maybe he wanted a favour from me. Since I'm one of the best workers in my office it would make sense if he needed help with work and was going to keep my 'strange' hobby a secret if I agreed to help. I must've thought too much. I just made myself a bit more worried by over thinking, so I decided to sneak out of the hospital to check on the Worlds Gate.
