2 A chicken?

"Looks like I'll have to climb down from here," there was a narrow path that was probably what this girl used to get up here. I slowly started heading down, making sure to test if any rocks were unstable. Suddenly I heard the strangest pecking noise. 'A bird? No! It was a chicken. Since when did chickens start flying again!' "Huh.." While in shock I forgot to check if the rock I was stepping on was stable... "Ahhhhhh" I remembered how I had to find something soft to absorb the impact but, there was no time I couldn't move.

Luckily it rained not too long ago, because the ground I fell on was mud. I would rather not sink any deeper into the mud so I used the last of my strength to pull myself up. Just now, remembering the town I saw while on the cliff I tried to remember the direction it was. "Right!" The town was next to a river. That's good cause I didn't want to stay looking like a disgusting Grimer* for another second! (AN: Grimer is a pokemon) After resting for a couple minutes, I headed towards the river.
