On this continent there are fifteen countries, Terminus is the second biggest. The main problem with this continent is the fact the over half of it is unliveable land. Do to resources and land being scarce nine of the fifteen are currently at war. War has helped Terminus and a few other countries prosper as well as destroy two of the once seventeen countries. The towns I've been to up to now are close to the border of Terminus and Regiis, who are at war with each other. Regiis is the biggest country, but doesn't have access to the five great rivers. It's only source of fresh water is a giant lagoon near to center of the country.

'I'd understand why Regiis would want to start a war with a resource rich country like Terminus, but from what I learned, Terminus started the war. The books at the library said it was because the Termin King's advisers foresaw Regiis waging war, so they took the chance and attacked them first. Of course, it was obvious the the Termin king was just power hungry. If he was worried about being attacked then he should've prepared for war not start a war as fast as possible without giving time for the villages near the border to move.'

'I'm a bit worried about Miya, Kiyo and Lyla. Their village is closer to the border then mine. I'll have to keep an ear out for any information on the war.' It was close to midnight when I finished taking notes on the continent. 'I should go bed now.' I folded up my notes and went to bed.
