Where Everything Starts

It was a breezy day when my conscience woke up from deep slumber.

I am still tired after studying hard yesternight but I have to wake up for I still have college examinations to take.

But wait, Why am I feeling cold when I still have my heater on?

I open up my eyes to see a blue sky with fluffy-looking clouds.

"Why am I outside?"

I tried to look for some hints but all I could see are mountains and wide rice fields.

I lived in the city so this place so where am I?

I looked at myself to notice I'm not wearing anything.

"What am I, an exhibitionist?"

I tried to find some clothes but all for it was in vain.

"I hope someone will not see me. My reputation will collapse if this situation goes on"

I tried to analyze my surrounding more clearly to notice that this place is a little bit... weird.

Enourmous weird birds are flying at the sky, those creepy eyes are looking at me as if I'm a living prey. Seconds later, it started to fly towards me.

Out of instinct, I ran towards the forest to hide from the birds. The birds are fast, unbelievably fast.

"At this rate, I'm going to be eaten."

My fight or flight response activated releasing adrenaline. My running speed rose as my nervousness increases.

As I ran I saw large insects, wolfs and enormous bears. Some of them can even be described as beast.

My mind are slowly blank out as my energy are starting to deplete.

I need to hide.

My vision are staring to blur as I approach to the forest.

After couple of seconds I managed to enter the forest. I am shocked to know that those creatures did not manage to enter the forest. Like there was a barrier preventing them to get me.

I sat in a patch of grass, breathing hardly. Where the hell am I?

There's no way this world is my world? Just what the hell is happening?

By the way, I am Jace Theodore and without me knowing, the forest that helped me just now will be the place where my nightmares take place.
