I'm just a physics teacher

In this modern era, the physical newspaper has gone to extinct, and the online news system has gained its popularity. Among the well-known online news portals who started their company for this news system, SunMoon was one of them.

"So, why would a reporter from the SunMoon news portal come looking for a mere teacher like me??"

Jessica, the enthusiastic young woman who came looking for Ravi, was a reporter who recently joined the online news company after her graduation in this recent year. The recent hyped news about the time theory and the two scientists was the main attraction of every reporter and Jessica was among them.

She was planning to write an article about the past life of those two scientists. She investigated about their school, college, and varsity life inquiring the people from the respective institutions. But when she inquired from the university she came to know that Ravi was one of their best friends and also he worked with them with their thesis.

So, after collecting the contact and address of his work she rushed here looking for Ravi.

"Please forgive us, for rushing here without any prior notice. From enquiring, we came to know that, you were one of the best friends of the famous scientist Paul Richardo and Elina Rosetta and we've also heard that you've worked with them. Is it true?"

Ravi started to frowned, he never expected that a reporter would come looking for him because of his friends after this long time. He didn't know how to answer that...

"Sorry, you heard it wrong. Yeah, we were classmates and nothing more. And as for working with them, how can I compare with those geniuses. Back then, I was just a physics student and now I'm just a physics teacher."

"Oh, this....."

"Is there anything else? if not, I'm gonna head for home, I have lot of work to do."

"Yes, yes. We're finished."

After that, Ravi promptly got out of college and started walking toward his house.

The two reporters just stared at the back of Ravi and couldn't say anything.

"Hey, Mike. What do you think about the last statement he just made?" Jessica asked the young man who came with her.

"I don't know. It looked like he was just mocking them." Mike replied.

"Yeah, I felt the same way. Oh well, what can be done. We've got plenty of information for the article. Let's go to the office, I'm pretty tired from the running here and there"

Without gaining much from this trip, the two reporters just went back.

On the other hand, Ravi was muttering something as he was walking towards his house.

'It was I who first brought that topic first, solely theorized the theory of time and parallel universe. I gave my blood and sweat, pulled a countless all-nighter. But, those two just stole my hard work and published it in my back. ha,ha.....But, what can be done. Everything is in past now. It was naive of me to blindly trust them. If I could just go to the past, then I would show them, no, not just them. To the whole world, what I am capable of. '

As he was muttering these to himself, he reached his house.

After going into his house, he changed his dress and wore a t-shirt & shorts. He entered the washroom and washed his face and after being freshed he went to the refrigerator and took out a piece of cake. Though he took his launch at the college canteen he was hungry.

While eating his cake, he went to look for Rickie.

'At this time he must be in the lab.'

So, he went to his lab which is located in the underground basement.

As he entered the lab, he could see his assistant is busy tinkering with a capsule-like machine. He went inside and sat on a chair watching his assistant who kept busy with work.

"Boss, You're back!!! "

"Yeah, arrived a few minutes ago. How is the work coming up?"

"I'm almost finished with the new modifications. So, I think today we can go on a trial with this baby... "

When Paul and Elina published the journal about the time theory and parallel universe, he tried every method to reclaim his work but to no avail. Paul and Elina, both are the native of U.S and they have a powerful background and as for Ravi, he is just a foreign student who came to the U.S with his scholarship for his outstanding talent and hardship. So, he couldn't do anything without bearing as he had done from his childhood.

So, to get his revenge and prove his worth to the whole world, he decided to put his theory on practical use.

For this, he needed a huge amount of money. That's why he did all kinds of work for earning money. Before joining the college as a teacher he worked for multiple part-time jobs, worked as a tutor, worked as a lab assistant, and also many other types of works.

It was 2077 when joined he joined the college and met Rickie. Rickie then was a last year student. At first, he was the 1st boy of his class but later his grades kept worsening. When Ravi inquired about the grade worsening, he found out about his family condition.

Rickie's parents divorced when he was a first-year student. He was left with his father. But his father remarried after a while and Rickie had his own share of problems with his new mother. So, he moved out of his house and decided to work a part-time job besides his studies.

Ravi couldn't afford to pay a high salary to an assistant for his research. So, he decided so took Rickie as his assistant and gave shelter in his house.

After that, for nearly 5 years Ravi and his assistant kept working with the machine which they named 'Time Capsule'.

They had countless trials and errors with the experiment. But with every failed experiment they made the modifications according to failure and it nearly got the state of perfection.

"Yeah, let's give it try..... tonight."

Ravi smiled as giving him a reply.

He was excited about the trial if the trial becomes successful it will be a changing point of his life. He could do many things with this.

After that, he left the lab heading upstairs circulating all kinds of thoughts about the possibilities of the Time Capsule.
