2 Passive Skill

—hmm? ...a roleplaying game?—

Once again the screen changed to an electric blue,

A voice sounded out from the phone: " Please gamer, enter a Username that other players can see" Iris entered her one and only, uninventive go-to username.

"Thank you, Fire Stone, this username cannot be changed until certain requirements have been made, do you wish to continue?"

—yes, I just can't think creatively, can I?—

*ding* "Dear Fire Stone, please hold the phone away from you and look at the camera...

3..

2.."

Downstairs in the kitchen: "Hey Iris I think there's going to be a lightning storm! I think it flashed" She said looking out the window directly below Iris' room.

"AAAARR my eyes" she quietly shrieked, rubbing her eyes. After the countdown had finished a blinding light shone out from the flash.

"That was way too bright! I would have liked a warning!" She still couldn't see well.

*ding*

"Character photo analysis complete - you may customise 60% of your character"

A chibi avatar version of Iris waved on the screen and multiple drop-down menus. Appeared either side of this small doppelgänger.

"Can I change the race? I heard that some games do that"

"Yes, Fire Stone please input your chosen race here:"

A small keyboard appeared at the bottom of the screen.

—Oh, voice-activated too!—

Iris thought for a while but couldn't think of one to suit her tastes.

"HEY MUM! what's a cool fantasy creature, like an elf or something!" Iris shouted hoping to be heard over the kitchen stove". Instead, her father answered from the next room: "You should ask the d&d expert, my darling fairy princess-"

"FAIRY PRINCESS! that's good enough, thanks dad"

Iris typed it into the search bar. ding "Fire Stone, You have chosen an unidentified race please wait for analysis" 5 seconds later another ding sounded out:" New variant fairy species created: 'Fairy Princess'. "

"Fire Stone, you have chosen a variant race this will impact your starting attributes do you wish to continue?"

—yeah why not, I'm a princess at heart—

After, the avatar walked off the screen and on again, but a third smaller with tiny opaque wings and long ears. "Aww, that's so cute!" Iris then continued to tweak her appearance: purple curly hair, green eyes, pinkish-transparent pointy wings,...

*ding*

"you have reached a 60% change in your appearance"

—oh damn—

Her new avatar smiled as she walked off the screen and the loading screen came on again.

Once it had finished loading a few horizontal buttons lined the screen, all were grey and blurred out except one: Player attributes.

Iris clicked it and it took her to a plan page with what you would expect:
