6 Great Forest Wolf

Iris was impressed with her luck at creating a new skill, just as she was about to try it out on some more slimes a deafening howl echoed through the forest, Iris had not felt anything before the howl. She slowly turned the find a giant wolf charging towards her:

_________

'Giant Forest Wolf' (beast)

Level: 5

HP: 30

————

Iris almost swore and turned tail and ran. She ran as fast as a fairy on 50cm legs, but still ferociously, dodging between trees to slow down the wolf.

—it's about 10 seconds away, it will kill me in one shot!... no! There must be a way...OVER THERE!— Iris ran up the hill as far as she could go before the wolf caught her. "Please work! Don't be called willow's mount for nothing". Then she saw it: —A CLIFF!— Iris ran straight towards the cliff:

"3...

2...

1...

Now!" She dodged letting the giant wolf topple over the cliff face, falling to its death. Panting, Iris peered over to check her kill. She just watched the bloody scene turn to light and dissipate.

*ding* "you have levelled up"

....

*ding* "you have levelled up"

Iris levelled up 4 times in a row, She was now level 8, She had stockpiled 20 free attribute points, she allocated half to her vitality stat and half to flight. After a minute or two after catching her breath, Iris found a path down the cliff face, as she walked down she noticed a significant increase in walking speed from before. She also stopped to test her flight. Floating at 7 inches she could slowly float around for 10 seconds. "Still can't be used in fights, bummer". Iris reached the bottom of the cliff and surveyed the area, once she knew it was clear she ran towards her loot: 5 dream stones and a necklace decorated with a shiny silver stone. —A necklace?— Iris tried to identify it but it came up as unknown. "Well, what's the harm in having some bling" She placed it over her head and put the Dream stones in her inventory. What she didn't notice was the faint blue glow radiating from the necklace under her sack-dress. "Hmm, I could keep hunting, the monsters here have low intelligence". She thought for a while and decided to not take any chances. Following a path she heard sounds of players, upon closer inspection she saw them fighting two small wolves. Iris came out of the bushes to help but was noticed by the wolves. "Hoowwll", "Grrrrr" both wolves scampered away from the players and her. "Did they ran away because we're so strong, AHAHA' an arrogant looking youth, stood at the centre of what was probably a novice party, none had weapons but you could clearly see what class choices they would pick.

— Swordsman, Wizard, MT(1), Berserker...nice team mix—.

Most were level 2, the Swordsman stood behind the arrogant Berserker and smiled, using his eyes to thank her, He had grasped that she had scared them off herself. Iris nodded her head and left through the clearing again.

—did they smell the dead great forest wolf on me?.. or was it the..!—

Iris looked down to find the necklace glowing a bright blue before becoming dull once again. "..a wolf warden(2)?"
