7 Prep (Redone)

This is the way this week goes, materials arrive for the plans, Danger, sorry, she renamed herself. If I am honest I wanted to the day I got her back here, but on the Thursday before the arrival of my guests Danger out of the blue decided she wanted to be called Lilly, I think it is a nice name even if she would not tell me how she chose it. (My nod to Lulu Carter, a criminal some suspect is related to Peggy Carter.)

Can I just say, knowing that in the future people can get a flight the same day from the UK to the USA does not help my patience when waiting on the trio.

Lilly has linked to many of the security cameras all over the city, I have had her leave fixed backdoors since she is so far advanced, we might as well try to make things easier in the future.

How do you ask? Well, I am planning on creating upgrade packages, this way people will hopefully not install new software and just keep upgrading their old ones that already have a backdoor, since the upgrades will not have any backdoors they can be tested thoroughly and be found up to the job.

'Joel, they are heading to the hotel now. The lab is ready with all the components we ordered through the week as well.'

"Thanks, Lilly, oh, what is Jean doing?"

'She is on the roof; I would say she was meditating as you suggested but the swimsuit and the novel lead me to say she is tanning.' Lilly says with a hint of humor in her voice.

I chuckle and smile, then move to the lab and focus on the whiteboard in front of me. I am thinking about how best to make a virus that would allow me to control others and I am not getting much inspiration although I am getting some half-thought-out ideas from someone.

Ah, there we go, a few minutes later I get what I need and I start writing it down fast. I am in luck, this is the last year they work on their son, they have done all the work for me, but I see an issue with it.

It seems this would only be useful for 12-24 hours, then die out in the body unless you remain within range of the person before it dies out. This also explains why Jessica Jones became immune to this version, she has an improved healing factor to fight them.

The answer comes to me easily, this is the cool part of my power. I am better than the person I get the power from. I make the virus attack and then emulate the immune system, once it emulates it the body will no longer attack it and bypass the immune cells and escape their detection. This should mean it will stay within them with no deterioration.

"Lilly, work on creating this please, I will work on a one-time antidote for the weaker version." I give her a moment, then I clean the board off, it now only exists within Lilly and myself.

This part will not take much time, it is easy to create and improve something that has already been done. They were trying to save their son and accidentally gave him controlling powers. I think they are currently under his power, so a way to remove his powers is not something within their minds.

Luckily I can use their skills and knowledge of how they gave him these powers to work on a cure, one that will only work on his level of powers.

'Joel we just got a call, they have settled in and would like to meet you as soon as possible.' Lilly let me know.

"How far is the serum, also is the containment chamber for the kid ready?" I have put it together and left it to Lilly to regulate gas flow to the chamber, including poison if needed.

'I am done with the formula you gave me, but it seems like this would be quite painful. It would be best to apply this tonight so you can sleep it off. The chamber is ready now though.' Thinking about what Lilly just said I think I agree, best to do that tonight then.

"Okay, invite them over, can you give them a tour and end it in the chamber room? I will take over after then." I head up to my computer and start working on designs I have for Jean and myself to cover our weaknesses, I have my other versions' knowledge because Stark Jr is in LA, and although Sr has some idea it is not thought out yet.

'Joel, I found the last name on the list you gave me for pre-2000, she was born two years ago in Russia. Also, it seems Wakanda is monitoring the internet and its development, although their defense is rubbish.'

"This is because their geniuses are not great yet. They only have the metal they are using. but having it does not make them smart. See if you are at all able to get us any or track it. If not, I have to wait for Klaue to dock. Oh, can you get information about project Omega Red, Power Broker inc. Weapon Plus Program. the infinity formula, research by William Burnside, Protocol Six, Dr. Noah Burstein in Seagate Prison, and research by Ted Sallis please."

I thought for a moment then added, "Some of them you might need to wait on, so do not be surprised if they are not located yet."

Without pause, Lilly answers me, 'Sure, I'll just add that to the list of things you want me to do.' She says while chuckling.

"Oh, are we sure about the location of Project Sentry? I do not want to waltz in there and find it is gone. Although I am sure as hell not using it right away until I tested it, I do want to make sure an idiot meth head does not get it." (I am working on the idea that it says roughly 30 years after 1947 the research dwindled, then is say in Sentry history a decade after research ended, So I am saying 1987 he found the serum.)

'I have seen it on security, the place has a skeleton staff and I have already copied the formula as you said and am working on various diluted versions to grant differing results. I also changed the formula they have saved on their system so it will never work.' Lilly responds to me in a bored tone.

I was eager to get that serum, but I wanted to ensure there was nothing wrong with it. Although everything that went wrong with Sentry could be attributed to his drug habit and the lies the scientist told him, there was no harm in making sure beforehand. The reason his power was so erratic was once again his unstable mind, at one time he faced Galactus, then another he tied with the Hulk in a fight, and his power level was all over the place. I needed to make sure the serum or the way it affected my mind was not going to be an issue.

Lilly estimated a few years to be sure, that was why I was looking into all the other projects that had yielded results to cover me while she tested it. I mean something had to change to go from making Cap to making Sentry. And just so you know, in my opinion, the biggest issue was a Meth addict getting that level of power, it shows you how lax the security in the base is, he crawled under the fence and walked into the lab.

'Joel, they arrived, I am showing them around. I do not like the way that little boy is looking at me, it's disgusting.'

"Thanks, yeah if I am right, he has realized his power and tested it a few times, so do not be surprised if he tries to control you. Just use the security on him if you want, he is not that important to my plans." I am not going to have that little rapist upsetting my people, as far as I am concerned, he is easily disposable.

A few minutes later Lilly let me know they were heading to the lab containing the containment camber, during this time I have made some developments in regards to a cure, but nothing I believe will work yet.

At super speed I head to the lab, I can see Lilly, the two adults, and the child ahead of me. I grab the kid, run him into the chamber, and run out as Lilly closes the door the moment I leave it. Smiling I stand before Albert and Louise Thompson who have a shocked look on their face.

"Hi, pleased to meet you, I am Joel."
