Boss Fight / The Fifth Trial
After we called everyone who was going to fight with us, we started preparing for the Fifth Trial.
I went to the forgery to check up on Darius who said he was going to make some equipment before we went to the Fifth Floor, "Oh, Ray, i was just thinking on how to call for you since i can't get out of this place for now" says Darius.
He said he can't leave this place because me and baldie decided to not introduce him to the others until we conquer the Fifth Floor,
"Anyway, i made some armors, but they're a bit shallow because i didn't have much time. I also created this shield from an alloy made of dark steel and mithril" continued Darius.
We could make equipment because, luckily, Darius had tons of iron and some other metals in the forgery's storage.
"Since it's partially made from mithril it will parry magical attacks to some extent too!" Explains Darius, "Thank you, Darius, this shield look really sturdy!" I say while thanking Darius and taking the shield.
I then leave the forgery and give the villagers the poor quality armors that Darius made on a whim, saying i randomly found them in the forgery.
"Are you all prepared?? We're gonna go for the Fifth Floor!!" Esclamates baldie while doing his usual "war cry". "Let's go!!" Esclamate the villagers while lifting their swords up in the air.
After that, we go up the stairs, open the door, but this time,
The torches were already lit. Rather, the flames were crimson red this time. "What is this? Why are the torches already lit?? And what's with those red flames???" Asks baldie while standing before the entrace and looking at the torches from the stairs.
We threw the piece of equipment and waited 10 seconds... Nothing happened.
We decided to go in despite the strange situation, while obviously being careful.
Inside the room there were 10 dark red skull markings, each on one of the old yellowish stone blocks that were part of the walls. The floor was made of the same yellowish blocks and had huge stains of a substance that looked like rotten blood here and there. The ceiling was the same as the walls except for the skull markings.

I quickly turned around after hearing a metallic noise from behind us, and noriced that the entrance was blocked off with thick iron bars.
"What?! We're locked in now!!" Esclamates Domo, alerted, "We came here to conquer the Floor, not to run away right after entering, so it's not much of a problem." Says baldie while loooking around for any traps or enemies.
*GRAAAWR*
As we were looking around, a huge monster dropped down on the floor from a portal that created the moment before he appeared.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?!!!?" Screams Domo, terrrified, while looking at the monster, "That will be a difficult prey..." Mutters Mia to herself, "How are we supposed to defeat that thing..." Says one of the villagers after he fell on the floor from the fear.
The monster had 6 spider-like legs and its body was like... An upwards rectangle? Anyway, the entire body of the monster was protected by a thick looking crimson red skin, being a bit darker at the ends of its legs. It did not have any eyes, nor a nose, or anything else. He only had a huge mouth, filled with human-like teeth.
It was smiling... It was creepy...
"AAAAH", Some of the villagers were running away in fear, some others couldn't for the same exact reason. Only I, baldie and Mia were still thinking about defeating that thing, even Domo and Haru had given up...
It started charging at us, it went for Mia, who quickly dodged and jumped on top of its head. She tried to perforate his skull and flesh with her katana, but failed because of the sturdy skin the monster had...
The monster quickly shook her off, but while it was doing so, baldie hits one of its legs with his warhammer.
*KRRAAAUGH*
It seems to be effective. As the monster started screaming in pain, i gripped the spear in my hands thightly and charged forward.
After some steps, i jump, and find myself right in front of it. At that moment i used my original skill [Sword Aura] to envelop the spear with my mana and enhance its attack power.
*Slam*
I slammed its head with my spear since blunt attacks seem to be more effective, and cracked part of his face. We then retreat back a little, but the moment we step back, one of the skull marking on the walls began glowing in a red light, and then shoot that strange substance that was on the floor.
It was about to hit baldie, but he noticed it soon enough and quickly dodged to the side.
*Tsszzz*
As the substance hit the floor, it made an acidic sound, as if it was corroding it. "I think that if we get hit by that, we'll be dead for sure..." Says baldie while trying to warn us about the corrosive substance.
The monster starts charging at us again. I looked at baldie and sent a quick signal by nodding my head as to say to attack together, he nods back at me, and we then charge at the monster while it was still running towards us.
Having destroyed one of its legs it was easier to dodge its attacks now, so baldie destroys its second leg on the same side after dodging, i do the same with the first leg at the other side. Right after we did so, Mia jumped on its leg and puts her katana in the crack i made with the spear, she tries to push it further in, but got shaken off before she could do any serious damage, the katana remained stuck in the wound on its head.
They took a step back, but i charge forward once again, but this time, i launch myself foward by using my spear, and use the momentum i had to kick the black katana further inside the wound.
*KRAAAAAAUGH*
It screams in pain again.
I try to use [Analyze] on him, to estimate how much health he has left.

Wake up, me! There's no time to pity monster who is trying to kill you!
As i thought that and slapped my face lightly to regain composture, i see the monster falling on its "knees" from the damage it received.
I quickly take back my spear and throw it exactly on the katana stuck in its body to make the wound even deeper than it already was.
*KRAAAaaaugh...*
The monster went silent after a last scream of pain as it finally dies.

Did i obtain it for throwing the spear and hirting the katana perfectly? And this Paradox System... Seems like it will be really useful in the future.
"Is it... Dead?" Says one of the villagers who were terrorized by the monsters, "GLORY TO THE WARRIORS!!!" Esclamate the villagers right after that. "You were great, Ray! How did you hit the katana from that distance??! And when you launched yourself up in the air with the spear too, you're amazing!!!" Esclamates baldie while complementing me, "I didn't think you were this strong... How did you crack through his skin?" Asks Mia while looking at me, curious, "I swinged really hard.".
And with that, i began walking towards the door to the next floor...
