Paradise Within Apocalypse

[2nd January 2022]

Today was Sunday and just like any other sunday I was playing cricket along with my friends.My name is Pritam( 180cm height with a good looking face and slim built) and I was in my last year of High school. I was just your avarage High school student without girlfriend(🙂) and as for my friends well it's best not to talk about it. As I was having those thoughts a sound came from my back

- Oi Pritam stop daydreaming and help us packup { Joy}

- Umm comming

[Joy ~ my best friend and a virgin from birth with a height of 183cm and above average looks] Currently it's 5.28pm and we were packing our bats . It's nearly evening and we are about to go home.

[5.30pm]

( Bang)

Suddenly we heard a sound of thunderclap so we looked up only to discover a dark red sky. As I am a science student I know it's not uncommon for a red sky to appear before evening as red sky appears when dust and small particles are trapped in the atmosphere by high pressure. But the sky I'm currently looking at is not a red but dark red or more precisely looked like dense blood droplets.

(Crack)

A loud cracking noise can be heard so I placed both of my hands on ears and closed my eyes with all my might . Soon the noise stopped and I started relaxing a little but then heard someone screaming and pointing towards a certain direction. So my eyes naturally went towards that area only to find out that there was just a crack so I moved my eyes from that point. Ahh wait there was a crack . A crack? How can there be a crack in middle air? So I looked back and I saw something I shouldn't have. A crack was formed in middle air. It was large enough to fit 3-4 people at a time and it's height was above 6feet.

Ok, so currently I'm seeing a dark red sky and a crack formed within air right? To clear my doubts I tried to look at my friends and the look on their faces cleared my doubts . Suddenly Joy asked me

- Vai( Brother>Bro=Vai. It's a native word to describe someone close to you. Mostly used by Boys within high school) is there a crack in the air?

- There is but how the hell it's possible {Bin}

[ Robin~ commonly known as bin is one of my close friends with a height of 183cm and avarage face and bulky built] Bin answered in my place.

- it's true but how are we supposed to know ?

I said. As we were talking Ray called us while pointing at the crack

- Hey, is there something inside that carck?

[Ray~ One of my close friends with a height of 178cm and good looking face though he is still single].After Ray said that we all looked at the crack and it's true. What Ray said is true. There really is something within the carck. What's more surprising that thing is a living creature. With a height of 5feet and a gray skin that creature has a near blad head with two holes in the place of nose and is holding a tree branch. Soon two more creatures can be seen with same characteristics. And they started walking towards our direction.

- Are they coming towards us?( Me)

- I'm not sure but it's look like it.( Ray)

And then those creatures started running while screaming

(Aaaaaaahhhh)

Their eyes are fully red filled with rage.As they reached us and it was clear that they want to attack us. Currently I'm holding a wicket made of wood.

Shoosh. I swang the wicket with all my might out of fear and baam it hit the head of the ugly looking creature .The creature fell down but the other two creatures didn't stop instead they increased their speed. Unfortunately for them Ray,Joy,Bin were quick to respond. Bin attacked one of them with the bat and Joy and Ray attacked the other one . I removed my gaze from them and looked at the creature fallen on the ground. I don't know why but the moment it steeped out of the crack I was afraid of this creature. An unknown fear was surrounding me and I am sure it's the same for my friends.

Soon the creature got up and once again it tried to attack me but I dogged that. I don't know what the fuck I'm currently doing but my instinct is telling me to hit it's feet so I bended my legs and attacked it's knee. The creature once again made some creepy sound but I ignored that and attacked it's one of its eyes with the spikey area of the wicket and greenish blood started flowing out from the creature's body . Then I noticed the the tree branch it was holding and picking it up I attacked it's groin area the creature's made another creepy sound. Ignoring the sound I striked its head like a baseball again and again . On the 4th hit the creature stopped moving and I stopped hitting its head. Then looked at my friends and they also managed to kill the creatures.

Ahh my head was spinning in some crazed manner and I was feeling nausea. I sat down with my head in my knees . But soon heard my friends screaming. So I looked up and saw the bodies of the creatures disappearing. I stepped back not to got caught in that. Soon the body got disappeared but it left some things behind like a sack of meat a small violet colored stone and the tree branch. And I thought they were screaming because of that but I was wrong. A sudden pain attacked my head. The headache was too strong but it wasn't only that my heart was also burning like fire . I screamed I cursed but nothing helped. Soon I passed out from pain.

After an unknown period of time my senses returned. I got up and placed my right hand on the wall to support my body and left hand on my head. Surprisingly the headache died down. Then I saw some letters floating in air
