14 Chapter Fourteen

It had been a few days and it was the morning of Wednesday. Father had woken me up like usual and wished me an early goodbye as he had to leave earlier. Once my father left Tribble came in and gave me breakfast in bed. It was simple souffle pancakes with a toast and scrambled eggs.

Once I finished Tribble got into a bath and scrubbed me squeaky clean before blowdrying my hair with a snip of her fingers. After that, she looked in my closet for outfits that I could wear which would be appropriate for the visit.

Tribble picked a blue purplish velvet dress which had a low soft singular ruffle around the neckline. It made me think of a uniform dress with the white colour that stuck out the neckline. At the end of my leaves, I also wore white cufflinks.

Tribble took two front pieces of hair which were now wavy instead of straight. She twirled them before attaching them at the back of my hair with a blue butterfly clip.

"Tribble since you finished could you bring Freddie over here," I asked. I had finally found a name for the little Augurey, Freddie. I hated when Fred died so I named it after him. I told father I liked the name, it was cute. He didn't seem to make the connection and thought nothing of it.

Tribble came back with the cage which Freddie was in. "He is very quiet today, it seemed like it won't rain," I muttered. "It seems so mistress," Tribble answered kindly. I patted Freddie and felt his soft feathers against my hands. It was quite comfortable, it was a calm relieving feeling that flowed over me.

"Tribble, I'll be in the library till our guest arrives. before they do notify me and have the tea and cakes set up in the yard along with a broom toy," I say, "Oh and unless I deliberately call for you do not walk in on my guest and me," I add.

Draco would throw a fit if he knew I treated my house elf like this. He would preach the teaching of his father. So it was best to distract him. I heard a murmur of agreement and walked out of the room with Freddie on my shoulder.

"Mistress, the guest will be here in five minutes and I have prepared as you have requested," Tribble said happily. She must be excited that I would finally have a guest over. "Thank you, Tribble, you can take some time off now if you'd like," I said. Before Tribble could refuse I made my way out of the room and towards welcoming hall.

I opened the door and there he was, Draco stood in a casual outfit. With a green sweater with a dress shirt sticking out and normal pants with black shoes. "Hi, Come in," I say

"Thank you for having me," he said while looking to his side. Behind him was Dobby his house-elf that brought him here. I would have expected him to use the Floo network but as they were five it would seem irrational.

Draco walked in the house and he seemed to take everything in. As if he was making an analysis. I just mainly ignored it. "Would you like a tour," I ask, "Sure," Draco shrugged. I sighed inside and thought about how awkward it would be to have him here for the whole afternoon.

I toured the whole house, my room all the way to the stables and back to the garden with the warm tea and cakes ready to be eaten. "The Holy Harpies are my favourite, they always have been," I argue, "They cannot beat the Bulgarian team, they are fully decked out with ruthless players, father took me to a game once," Draco argued back. I took a bite of the split lemon cake that we shared. "Still the Holy harpies are fierce, way more than you'd expect," I say standing my ground.

Halfway through my tour, Draco noticed the quidditch book I had laying in the library and this whole conversation started, it was fun to speak so normally. I had judged his character fully based on the books as an outsider, not as his acquaintance. He was different
