4 5. As Long as Not, Sir

Anna still kept cursing herself for the stupidity she had done unintentionally. Until a few moments later she was still focused on the sadness that befell her.

Outside the bathroom, Airlangga and Bima, who were stunned to see Anna's departure, could now only look at each other and shake their heads. They really felt guilty for playing with the feelings of a kind and simple girl, which they both found interesting to tease.

"Until something happens to her, I will not forgive you Bima. You know that I pretended to faint, but why did you actually provoke her to talk a lot without you trying to stop. You should be more mature and wise when you see Anna's sadness. Try to be comforting and I will open my eyes without her feeling ashamed for what you did."

Bima who got intimidated by Airlangga just shook his head. He did not feel guilty at all for the events that had just been experienced by Airlangga and Anna. The expression of Anna's feelings towards Airlangga comes purely from Anna's carelessness and Bima realizes it all. He felt that he had no part in this, but Bima did not answer everything that was said by Airlangga. As a son of Mr. Wijaya, the Iskandariyah Sultanate advisor, Bima felt the need to be submissive to his employer.

Seeing Bima silent, Airlangga immediately looked at him with sharp eyes as if he was about to kick Bima out of his room. Bima, who bowed his head, pretended not to know that Airlangga told him to get out. He still stood where he was, waiting for Airlangga's next reaction.

"Don't you have the initiative to leave this room at all? Do you want to know our next story or do you want to appease Anna with your efforts so you can have her? I will not let you approach her, Bima. She is my wife and I have responsible to take care"

"I beg your pardon, Sir. I have absolutely no intention of doing what you are accusing me of. I say goodbye."

Airlangga immediately got up and then he walked to the bathroom after Bima left his room. Airlangga leaned closer to the bathroom door, waiting for Anna to stop her crying. He looked up at the ceiling and took a deep breath, trying to neutralize his guilt for his wife.

After a while Airlangga tried to knock on the bathroom door, asking Anna to stop crying and come out, but several times he tried to knock on the door, Anna still didn't get any reaction.

"Honey, Open the door and allow me to tell you my true heart." Anna, who was still upset about the events she had just experienced, did not carry out Airlangga's orders at all. Instead, she turned around and locked the bathroom door and stepped into the bathtub. She sat there while looking around trying to find a way for her to escape from the grip of the man who had made her hurt.

"Honey, please open the door. I will do the same as what you did. I will tell you all my feelings and nothing will ever be spilled out."

Anna shook her head at Airlangga's request. The pain in her heart had pierced her heart. She was still holding back her tears as she looked up at the bathroom ceiling.

"God, please forgive me. If indeed I am guilty today, forgive me and show me Your best way. I'm a weak human. Can't go on without your help."

Anna is still monologuing. Until a few moments later, she heard the sound of the door being smashed from outside. Anna is stunned to see the man who has become her husband is now standing in front of her with his eagle eyes.

"Do you just want to cry over your fate here? Has there been a change when you have told me all your feelings with your current condition? No, isn't it? Now wake up and wipe your tears. Then we will continue our journey to the house of Mr. Wijaya, my teacher. There is not much time for us to regret all the circumstances we have been through. Look to the future and from today strengthen your heart to face my stubbornness. We are married and there is no time to go back to the original position where you and I are still alone and can do whatever we want. Don't be selfish and don't just think about your own destiny. There are still a lot of people out there who are suffering because of your mother's behavior."

Anna was stunned to see Airrlangga wearing his hips in front of her while saying harsh words to her. Anna had no other choice but to follow Airlangga's orders. She got up and walked out of the bathroom to her room, sitting on the bed in silence while waiting for Airlangga's next instructions.

She had promised herself to save the citizens from the undermining of the powerful mother. She will not back down at all just because of Airlangga's shots that hurt her so much. She has made up her mind to accept whatever the situation is with Airlangga even though she has to be hurt. Anna looked down as she watched Airlangga step out of the bathroom and stepped onto the bed, seeing Anna for a moment then pacing back and forth trying to neutralize his guilt for hurting Anna's heart.

Actually Airlangga was very sorry but he had no other choice but to make the girl feel guilty and finally complied with all his requests. Airlangga stepped towards Anna and immediately carried his wife out of the room he had used for their togetherness.

"Put me down!"

Without making a sound, Airlangga continued to carry Anna, who rebelled and asked him to be released. Airlangga, who was annoyed with his wife's behavior, still stepped past the victims who had not been evacuated.

"If you can't stand to see them, close your eyes"

Anna obeyed Airlangga's orders. She immediately wrapped her arms around Airlangga's neck to avoid falling and closed her eyes. When they arrived at the side gate of the house belonging to one of the soldiers of the Iskandariyah Sultanate, Airlangga stopped his steps. He saw Bima waiting for him and was ready to go to carry out Mr. Wijaya's orders to his residence in another village, a few kilometers from the village of Kalijajar, where the soldiers lived who gave their house to the soldiers of the Iskandariyah sultanate.

"Close your eyes and never open them until I tell you to. Follow all my orders if you really want to live with me forever. Never open your eyes because I won't be able to help you when you do."

Anna nodded. Anna's nod was actually known by Airlangga but he pretended to be angry and snapped at Anna who was still silent.

"Answer!"

"Y-Yes, sir."

"Sir? You call your husband by the name Sir?"

Anna looked at Airlangga's face who was still looking at her with sharp eyes. She really didn't know how to call Airlangga.

"T-then what should I call you?"

"As long as not sir."
