The ascent beyond the Shimmering Peaks led Blakely, Maven, and Iris to a sight unlike any they had ever seen. Beyond the jagged ridge, the landscape opened up into the Aetherial Highlands, a realm where the elements converged in perfect harmony. It was breathtaking—and terrifying.

The Highlands stretched out before them, a vast expanse of swirling elemental forces. Rivers of molten lava flowed beside glaciers of pure ice, while gusts of wind whipped through towering pillars of stone. In the sky, clouds of electricity sparked and flickered, casting an eerie light over the surreal landscape. Every element—fire, water, earth, air, and more—existed side by side, their raw power palpable in the air.

"This is it," Blakely whispered, her eyes wide as she took in the chaotic beauty of the Highlands. She could feel the magic here, a hum beneath her skin, vibrating with the energy of the world itself. "The Primordial Nexus must be somewhere in this place."
