When Song Yue thought about how Xia Weiyang was able to attract someone like Shi Jue, she became even more infuriated.

The waiter finally handed the bill to Wang Jian.

Wang Jian's hand trembled as he held the bill.

"Honey, what's wrong?" Song Yue asked Wang Jian. "Did you not bring enough money?" she said in a low voice. All she could do was blame Shi Jue and Xia Weiyang.

Song Yue's heart ached again when she thought about it.

Wang Jian's fat body trembled. He opened his mouth, but he couldn't say a word. Instead, he handed the bill to Song Yue.

Song Yue's mouth dropped as soon as she saw the bill. Her eyes widened as she looked at it.

"That's impossible. Why is it so expensive?" she muttered.

"This is a mistake, right? How could you charge us 10 million for a meal?" she said as she grabbed the waiter's clothes. Even though Shi Jue ordered a lot of dishes, the bill should not have cost that much.

Song Yue hoped that the waiter made a mistake while calculating the bill.

"I'm sorry, miss. But, we didn't make a mistake," the waiter said with a smile on his face.

"That's not right. How could it be so expensive?" Song Yue looked visibly confused and frustrated as she addressed the waiter.

She and Wang Jian had to pay the restaurant 10 million!

They didn't bring enough money!

Song Yue was also made because they were paying for expensive dishes that she didn't even get the chance to taste.

She didn't know what to do at that moment.

"There are some people nowadays who like to pretend that they're rich even though they don't have money!" a customer who was dining at the restaurant said loudly after hearing the argument between Song Yue and the waiter.

Song Yue wanted to yell at the customer. However, she decided to control her temper and not say anything.

She remembered that the people who regularly came to the restaurant were very rich and powerful. She cannot afford to offend another rich and powerful individual.

After all, she had already offended Shi Jue that day.

Song Yue released a breath of turbid air to calm herself down.

She decided to study each item on the bill to make sure that they were not being overcharged.

"Miss, we have clearly marked the price for each dish. Please look at the bill carefully," the waiter politely said.

Song Yue carefully studied the bill and analyzed each item written on it.

"I remember that young master Shi Jue only ordered one serving for each dish. Why did you list more than one serving for the dishes in the bill? How do you explain this?" Song Yue confidently said. She thought she had finally found a mistake with the bill.
