Xia Weiyang did not know who the woman was. She had no idea why the woman hated her so much.

"B*tch! How dare you show up here!" the woman shouted.

The beauty in her face was ruined by her malevolent expression.

"Ye Xin Yao, don't waste your breath on her! Let us avenge you by teaching her a lesson!" A girl behind Ye Xin Yao stepped forward and glared at Xia Weiyang.

"That's right, Ye Xin Yao. You don't have to deal with her. We'll take care of her!" Another woman behind Ye Xin Yao stepped forward.

As soon as she finished speaking, the women around her chimed in and looked at Xia Weiyang unkindly.

It seemed Xia Weiyang had offended everyone at the banquet.

Xia Weiyang didn't understand what was happening.

"I'm sorry, but I don't know who you are," Xia Weiyang said politely. "It seems you have mistaken me for someone else."

Xia Weiyang's face darkened. Her eyes were cold as she looked at the group of women who were saying bad things about her.

Earlier, she thought that the people who came to the banquet were from prestigious families. They were all cultured and well-educated. However, in an instant, their true colors were revealed.

Their mouths were full of profanities. They were really ugly.

"How could you talk like that? You have disgraced your prestigious families!" Xia Weiyang said as she glared at the women in front of her.

"How dare you say that about us!" The women were beginning to get angry again.

One of the women shouted loudly and prepared to pounce on Xia Weiyang.

Another woman grabbed her. "Don't do it here. A lot of people will see you. We will attack her later when no one is watching. You can do whatever you want," the woman said and gestured to the people who were looking at her.

Although the women wanted to attack Xia Weiyang, they couldn't do it in front of other people because of their reputations. They did not want to ruin their image.

After hearing what her companion said, the woman immediately straightened her dress and fixed her hair. In an instant, she returned to her poised appearance.

Xia Weiyang sneered and snorted in her heart.

As expected, they were all a bunch of pretentious women. At first, she wanted to ask why they were targeting her. However, after observing them, she decided not to stoop down to their level. She wasn't interested in them anymore.

"I'm sorry that you're angry. However, I am not the type of person you can vent your anger on," Xia Weiyang said as she turned around and prepared to leave.

"Where do you think you're going, Xia Weiyang?" Ye Xin Yao said through gritted teeth.

Xia Weiyang immediately stopped walking after hearing her words.

Xia Weiyang was surprised that Ye Xin Yao called her by name. It seemed it was not a case of mistaken identity. Ye Xin Yao was really targeting her!

Suddenly, a strange smile formed on Ye Xin Yao's face. She then glanced at Xia Weiyang and waved her hand.

In an instant, a waiter stepped forward and approached her.

"Miss Ye Xin Yao, what can I do for you?"

"Why are you letting anyone into this banquet?" Ye Xin Yao said with a tone full of disdain as she pointed ay Xia Weiyang. "I want this dirty thing to be thrown out!"

The waiter looked at Xia Weiyang and hesitated for a moment before approaching her. "May I please see your invitation card?'' he respectfully asked.

Xia Weiyang glanced at the waiter and sneered. If she didn't have an invitation, would he throw her out of the banquet?

"Miss?" the waiter asked again after seeing the Xia Weiyang was only staring at him and not doing anything.

"It seems the slut can't talk when she's in front of a man!" The group of women who were harassing her started to say bad things about her again.
