213 Chapter 213: Xia Ningyan who brought this on herself

Xia Ningyan once again became the focus of controversies circulating online.

She was experiencing what Xia Weiyang previously went through.

Xia Ningyan was still at the hospital.

She had just washed her face and returned to bed. She did not notice that someone when through her things while she was inside the bathroom.

Xia Ningyan wanted to leave her room and visit the hospital's garden. She was getting sick of the smell of disinfectant inside her ward. However, she knew that she could not let Lin Xilan see her walking around. After all, she was pretending to be sick.

Dressed in her hospital gown, Xia Ningyan walked out of her room and went to the garden.

Xia Ningyan looked at the different flowers, plants, and trees in the garden. She bent down and plucked a flower with her hand.

For some reason, the flower reminded her of Xia Weiyang. She suddenly felt angry. With a sullen face, she forcefully crushed the flower in her hand.

"Mom, she destroyed public property. My teacher said that's not right." Suddenly, a child's voice sounded.

Hearing this, Xia Ningyan's eyes swept across the garden.

She then saw a cute little girl who was about seven or eight years old. She was startled by Xia Ningyan's terrifying gaze. She immediately hugged her mother's leg.

The girl's frightened reaction angered her mother. She hugged her daughter and glared at Xia Ningyan. She could not help but widen her eyes and look at Xia Ningyan mockingly.

"Shameless woman! You still have the guts to come out in public. If I were you, I would hide myself inside a dark hole!" After the woman finished speaking, she hugged her daughter and turned around to leave.

The minor commotion immediately caught the attention of the other people in the garden.
