18 Chapter 18: I Don't Allow It

"Boss, the DNA test results are in."

In the pink hospital ward, a subordinate came to report to Hank Clegg, holding the test report in their hands.

Hank Clegg looked down at Duo Duo, who was sleeping soundly.

Her peaceful little face was as dreamy and lovable as an angel's.

Hank Clegg reached out and brushed away the black hair from her face before he spoke to his subordinate, "Let's talk outside."

The subordinate was stunned.

Working alongside the boss for so many years, they had never seen him treat anyone with such tenderness and care.

Someone ignorant might even believe this sleeping little angel to be his own daughter.

Regrettably, the test result may disappoint the boss...

Hank Clegg flipped open the report, his eyebrows furrowing: "Not father and daughter by blood?"

He raised his head, a hint of unwillingness and questioning in his eyes: "Are you sure there's no error of any kind?"

"Three separate samples were tested, all yielding the same result."
