Pampered by My Mate

It was night, and the biting cold wind was howling around her body.

The full moon hung in the sky, giving each werewolf more power than usual.

But for Tris, it was a nightmarish moment.

Someone had spiked her soup at dinner, making her extremely weak.

Even if she summoned her wolf Maggie, she could not get rid of the few werewolves chasing after her.

"I can't..." Maggie panted heavily as she spoke to Tris telepathically.

"Don't give up. Try harder. We're almost at Aunt Sophie's house!"

The two werewolves pounced on her shortly after, and she fell to the ground.

Tris suddenly widened her eyes and saw Wendy, her husband's partner, Victor, before her.

"It's you!" Tris was furious as she stared at Wendy.

A year ago, Victor suddenly brought Wendy back to the tribe and told her apologetically, "My dear, I'm sorry. I always thought I would not run into my Fated Mate until I met Wendy. My inner wolf was obsessed with her and crazy for her. I could not control..."

Although Victor and Tris were husband and wife, they were not each other's Fated Mates.

They were just childhood sweethearts who grew up together.

They had always liked each other and received blessings from their parents.

It was not until the two successfully summoned the wolf in their bodies during their 18-year-old bar mitzvah that they painfully discovered that they were not each other's Fated Mates. Neither of them had sensed their partners.

So they had no intention of giving up their love.

Victor had promised that even if he met his Fated Mate one day, he would not even look at her.

Tris had two older brothers.

He was an Alpha, and he was famous, so no one objected.

Even though Tris was sad, she could only accept the fact.

Since that day, Victor had never slept with her again.
