I holding onto Allis as the paramedics rushed into the house. I wish I had been here for her, I don't know why I couldn't just wait one day for us to move. The bastard knew where we lived??? I looked over to see this bastard, he was nothing a small fry, this little shit caused her so much pain.

The paramedics made it to the bathroom and before I could say anything they were lifting her onto the stretcher. There was 4 of them, I had informed the 9-1-1 operator that there was a body and injured person. One person went over to check the bastards pulse. One person pushed Allis the other was trying to wrap Allis wounds. They said I could go with them and that's when the police showed up and went into the apartment to view the crime seen. I walked along with the paramedics as they put Allis in the back of the ambulance. There was a crowd of people from the apartment trying to see what was happening, when I hopped in back. I held Allis hand tight. Her arm had a bandage wrapped around it from the cut down her arm the cut was pretty deep to the point you could see where the stain was starting to show through the white. The other bandage around her neck was perfectly white but her skin color was starting to match the bandage.

We raced through traffic and made it to the hospital, they got the emergency and we hopped out and they wheeled her into the doors and raced her into surgery before I could even give her a kiss.

I sat in the waiting room, people looking at me. I was covered in Allis's blood. The nurse came out to ask me if I knew Allis's blood type. O -! the nurse looked concerned. I can donate it you need, I am also O-. We would appreciate if you could. I was lucky enough the share one of the rarest blood types with my fiance. She took me to the labs room to give blood, when everything was done the nurse took me to another room but it was just a room with a table and chair.

umm ? did you put me in the right room?

She spoke up, yes just the doctor would like to talk to you in private. He'll be in a few minutes. Then she closed the door and I saw her walk away in the small window.

This can't be good if the doctor wants to talk to me in private, oh god I can't live without Allis, I can't handle if they tell me she didn't make it.

After 20 minutes of endless waiting replaying all the things that could go wrong. There was a knock at the door.

The doctor introduced himself as Doctor Roberson, he was a dark fellow with a deep voice. He spoke clearly so I have news, your fiance is alive but we had to put her in a medically induced coma she had to much swelling on her brain, we are not sure what kind of lasting effects this will have on her. She also has a fracture on her back rub cage, along with loosing a good amount her blood also. She honestly is poor shape but we are going to try our best to keep her alive.

I didn't know what to say, the tears were already running down my face. How could I let this happen I was screaming in my head.

The silence must made the doctor uneasy because he asked me if I had any questions.

Did he hurt her?

The doctor gave me a werid look. Umm she's on the brink of death, I would count that as hurting her pretty bad?

I am sorry I just didn't want hear myself say the words in medical terms, did he rape her.

I am sorry we were so busy trying to keep her alive we didn't do that medical on her exam yet but we will for evidence, we will get it done within the 24 hours.

When will I get to see her?

Right now she's in ICU. You will be able to join her after we're done with a few test. I will have the nurse take you back to the waiting room and then when everything's done we will send a nurse from her ward to come get you.

I nodded and he left.

The nurse came and got me and put me in the waiting room. It took another 3 hours before the nurse from the ICU came to get me. It felt like this nurse couldn't walk fast enough!

We got to her room, she had breathing tubes and iv's she had so many bruise's. Her eyes were closed but if she was awake I doubt she be able to open them because they were swollen and red. She was all bandage up, her brown hair was all soaked in dry blood. Her breaths were deep and I walked up to her bed and pulled a chair next to it and just threw myself down and leaned over her bed and started to sob. I am Soo sorry, there is nothing in this world that could make this right. I should have been with you ever second of every day since you were taken from me. I am so sorry Allis, I wish I could be the one dying not you! The door made a click as the nurse left. I sobbed even harder. I should have come home sooner, I should have never left you at home alone.

She was so pale, and seemed so lifeless. I held onto her hand tried to warm it with my breath.

If you can hear me Allis, I promise you I'll never leave your side again if you make it through this. I promise, we can be part time cashier's with the same schedule so we'll always be together. I'll give you that baby you wanted, and we can run a farm and make money that way, and you'll always be my side.
