Painting Pandemonium: A Travel Beyond

A young man without a name was easily the most feared assassin of the Han Dynasty in China. Rumors said he came from the island nation to the east, where he was called Akuma no gaka, or the Demonic Painter. He traveled the land in search of inspiration and beauty to depict in his works, and would kill for money, as he would never sell his paintings. The young man would only give his astonishingly wondrous works of art to those he deemed worthy, drawing the ire of many who were unaware of his other skillset. Akuma, as he had taken to being called, had just slaughtered his way out of the imperial palace after the man who hired him, Dong Zhuo, had betrayed him in a bid to gain the naive young emperor's trust. Chased to an ancient, abandoned Shaolin temple he had been using as a base, Akuma's new journey begins.
