14 Chapter Fourteen: I Hate You!!

"Just leave. I don't need you here." I begged, wiping my eyes, trying to stop the tears from flowing.

I stared at my shoes as tears streamed down his cheeks, down to my chin. I couldn't help but stain my sweater as I cried.

My sobs and hiccups echoed around the empty room.

I stayed in my weak state as I recalled memories of Yol Sang Kim.

It was too painful. I couldn't bear this kind of pain, and I needed my pain killers. Now.

I needed to take them... Maybe, just maybe then the pain would become a bit more bearable.

Maybe... I can forgive her...

Maybe I can love her again...

Maybe... just maybe...

I can forget about her...

Maybe I can... love her again...

Maybe...

(2 weeks later)

I didn't know where she was.... She never texted or called me.

I'd cried so much... I didn't think I had tears left anymore.

It hurt, it hurt so much.

And all of the pain… It was coming back.

I grabbed the roots of my hair in frustration.

Sobs began to echo around the room again.

I stood up from my crouching position and dragged himself towards the bathroom.

"I have a few left. This should be enough..." I said aloud, grabbing ahold of the container.

I poured the last few remaining pills onto my palm and smiled.

I loved this feeling... It was so satisfying...

"I hope this works," I mumbled to myself.

I swallowed the pills dry, and smiled as tears began to well in my eyes.

This is what I've been waiting for.

I took pain killers again...

It felt so good.

(Third person's P.O.V)

"Kim Shin, have you checked on Min Jinu? Did you bring him food?" asked the manager of the hospital.

"Not yet. I'll bring him food now," the staff replied, preparing his tray. He walked up the stairs where Min Jinu's room was located.

He knocked on the door… But no one responded.

He knocked again… Still no response.

"Sir! Manager!" he yelled, not caring if he would wake anyone up. The manager rushed over and pushed a key into the doorknob, unlocking the door and allowing the two to step inside.

Min Jinu was laying in the hospital bed, unconscious.
