4 Chapter Four

She open her eyes finally and he find the life he was in nothing in-front of the one he now a day living, no one knows from both of them he's the one who did all and caused the reason of her on bed and losing all the abilities and left half dead. But he feels like there's pain whenever he came in front of Annika, she turn her face away from him and it give his already bleeding heart more pain.

Another weak passed by the day she opened her eyes and he ran from his birthday party, they all were so angry on him and specially his father. But now a day he literally don't care what people think about him or what kind of conversations they had about his self.

He changed a lot from the person who everyone singing and traveling to a silence person who hardly smile for something, who try his best after spending day and nights in hospital to get a smile from the half paralyzed girl.

It was another usual morning, he was getting ready for the hospital and slipping his shoes when the door of his room open and Chelsea shows up, today her look wasn't much shiny or formal but she was in plain blue shirt along with black jeans and trainers. Plain ponytail and clean face from makeup, she's still looking so beautiful.

"You here this time?" He find himself saying while slipping other pair of shoe and getting up from the bed to grab his things including keychain and wallet.

"Yeah can't I be here? Or should I need a formal appointment to meet you?" There's annoyingness he can feel and the way she speak was enough for him to understand something not right with her.

"What happens Chel? Last night when we had a conversation you were fine." He said standing in front of her. She throw her bag on side and raise her eyebrows in oh-Seriously kind of expression.

"Conversation you're not serious Shivaye, you briefly say hello and cut the call." There's anger and only anger in those eyes.

"That's because Annika start screaming out of pain, her leg was bleeding chels..." he try to make a point, last night when he talk to her suddenly Annika who was under medicines start screaming and when he saw her leg is bleeding he didn't understand anything but running to her side throwing phone on couch.

"Yeah right, Annika as if only she's important in whole world for you— what about others huh? What about me? What about our wedding?" She was telling on him and he try his best to handle her. But she refuse the idea and take a step back.

"Some more time chels, once she get up from that bed and start walking I swear everything will be fine— we'll live the normal life we had don't worry." He was saying and opposite to her protest grab her through arms and give her a comfortable hug.

"You ignoring me Shivaye for her, our relationship destroying because you don't have time for me for us." Tapping on his chest she was saying and he smile a little given a peck on her hairs and then move a little eyeing her.

"Don't let such things comes into your mind— nothing will change in us but chels I need your support right now, i was the one who caused a girl all this, please try understand if I couldn't handle this then no one will do it."

"What you mean no one will ever do it huh? Can't you hire more doctors and nurses and what the use of you staying in hospital when she never even talk to you." Now when she's feeling a bit good and handle herself, she was saying.

"Deep down in my heart I've a fear that she knew I was the one who hit her the other night, but she didn't say a word because she saw me with her brother, Sahel talk to me so much and share everything m— through him I came to know they don't have anyone else in their life... their parents die and left only they two. I can't be more selfish chels please understand me." Grabbing her hands in his he was saying steering in her eyes when she nodded, the hairs fall in front from side but he wave them back and smile.

"Some time left in our wedding and I want to enjoy the time Shivaye— from next month people start coming and we haven't even decide a single thing yet." Now the topic Freon her to their marriage start and he's thankful she left Annika's topic.

"Don't worry everything will be done on time, now I'm getting late today the team of doctors going to give their conclusions on her health so I can't afford being late." He said seen the time from his wrist watch and wave towards her, she sigh but said nothing and grab the bag where before she throw and move along him out of bedroom.

On other side in hospital, doctors busy scanning her legs sections processing her though different machinery, she was laying on a plain white slate and a machine continue scanning and showing the results of what's current situation of the inner structure and how much more needed.

"How you feeling right now?" Doctor Said after all the tests, when she shifted to her room where from almost twenty two days she was staying.

"I don't know doctor." Barely she able to speak and tears again came in her eyes, as much she try to get up from bed the lower section of her body reject the thought and she more crumble inside her. It was a slow death she was getting from time her eyes open. Nothing but pain and only pain.

"Don't worry everything will be fine, you need to rest." Doctor said and given instructions to nurse leave the room. Annika's eyes shift on the front couch which is still empty, unconsciously she got worried seen someone not there.

On other days he always here at this time, what could be the reason?

She was thinking but quickly divert her attention when the door open and he showed up in room.

"Good morning Annika." As always he greeted and put the bags on table in front of couches and step near her bed to saw her. Who now already shift face on other side and staring the wall and sometimes nurses who's busy adjusting the pipe of drip and later leave the room smiling at him.

"I know you don't want to talk to me it's fine though, but tell me how's you feeling right now?" He questions in hope she answer him. For some seconds she say nothing but when he repeat his question she turn around him and saw in his eyes.

"Just like the other night when my broken body you throw in your car's backseat after hitting me." She said and close her eyes letting the stream of tears come out.

Those were the words or what? No they were daggers, sharp, pointy daggers which shatter his heart in so much pieces and left nothing but blood everywhere including the eyes.

He able to not say a word, the stream was still continue in her eyes and he didn't say a word or do just like the other night when she got hit my his car.

What was that? Nothing but his life's biggest fact that this almond color eyes' girl who's was on ventilator for fifteen days and now shift on normal bed of hospital, who can't take a step because his car make sure she never able to walk again. Who can't take breath for long because his lungs got hurts by the severe injury. What was left in her for what he could defend himself? Nothing but a useless body and some breaths.

"I'm... I'm sorry... please forgive me... please... i didn't hit you... on cause it was..." he try to say finally after ten minutes but the words lost in throat, she lift her face to saw the man who's responsible for everything and standing here saying sorry— sorry?

"Make me...stand on my legs and...I'll forgive you." Again her words stab his heart. "My brother... believes in you... that's only reason I bear you."

"Please forgive me I promise I'll do anything to make you healthy again... I know it was my mistake and..." He about to say something when she speak cutting him off.

"Just go— I can't forgive you, but I accept the reality, it was in my faith so just leave me alone." She Yell this time and try to turn quickly when a layer of pain ran in her body and a gasp skip her mouth, he move to her quickly and make her lay slowly on side she want to. She try to jerk his hand but he refuse her rejection and make her relax.

"It was all my fault not your fault and I'm not going anywhere until you not start walking on your feet I swear— I want to stay here otherwise I might never able to live again." He was saying and there's tears in her eyes, she was the lifeline of her brother who's younger and need her love and time the most and here she was laying on bed from about a month without moving a big and can't even give a hug to her brother.

He was there when the senior doctor came in room and check her legs and go though her quickly check ups and give her some more instructions for further recovery.

"Mr. Shivaye please come with me there's something I need to discuss with you." The doctor said and walk away following him Shivaye too leave the room and reach at his office, he grab seat next to table and wait for him to continue saying.

"We're doing everything we can, her ones badly broken and it's almost impossible for her to ever walk on feet again, I don't want to let her know now because it will affect her recovery which she needs the most— from three days she start ignoring medicines and treatment I'm afraid she's going through depression and that's really a bad news." The old doctor who's of black hairs including the black eyebrows and small nose, seems like he's from China and his accent says all. Shivaye just hearing him without uttering a word and as the words process his breath start shorten. If she never able to walk on her feet then how could he ever able to live normal life?

"My team of doctors do a detail case study on her condition and there's only one option I think left which can provide some hope for her to walk on feet again, I can't give any guarantee whether it will be hundred percent successful or not..." Tin-Hey, the Doctor was Saying when he cut him off.

"If there's any hope that she'll be able to walk on her feet just say the name of treat emend doctor and I'll do anything." There so much in his eyes the time, Before condition is faded now, the feeling of sinking like a ship lost by doctors last words and now there's hope.

"That treatment is way too expensive..."

"You think I'll care about money doctor?" Without given second he said and eagerly wait him to continue.

"I'm sure you don't but for the treatment you need to leave Australia because it only possible in one country." Calmly saying that small eyes and nose's doctor feel him very lovable and  attractive just like a angel.

"What country doctor?"

Tin-Hey let out a breath and eyeing the young guy who's watching him. "United States of America." He said and lean back on chair.
